...i cry when i go to remembrance day services...i think of all the mothers and fathers who lost sons (and daughters!), the children who lost parents, some of whom they never got the chance to meet and remember...i think of dieppe and the beach there...walking along the beach and seeing what the canadian troops faced just blew me away....there was NOWHERE to go...i think of all the canadians we still lose on an almost daily basis to war and conflict...so many of them, so young, their whole lives ahead of them, and their families and friends and neighbours who have only memories for the future...at 11:00 am..don't be at walmart, or watching football, or on facebook, or instant messaging...say a little prayer and send a lot of love out to all who bear the pain of sacrifice and loss...lulu xoxox
